The 2010 World Cup Is Over

When Brazil was beaten by Netherland 2 – 1, and Argentina was beaten by Germany 4-0 practically 2010 Soccer World Cup was over for me. Actually it was happen in quarter final. the two of them are my favorites, since they played charming football, they use technique in dribbling, passing, receiving, heading, and shooting, not just the speed, power, struggling, pushing, kicking like others. Unfortunately they was beaten in shameful game. Brazil and Argentina could not compete with the European team. This time beautiful Latin football is crushed by the powerful European football.

It just that I had too much expectation to see ‘Diego Armando Maradona” era back to the year 1986 that showed us a beautiful football. With the ease and delightful moves, he could pass 3-5 opponent’s players to make a goal.

Another Argentina’s football player who plays for Barcelona Football Club is Lionel Messi. Many people told that Messi is the reincarnation of Maradona; shown by his phenomenal performance in the club. Many times he scored hatrick, or even 4 goal in a match. The goals were made from beautiful moves and skill. I kept wondering his talents. This was the reason I took Argentina to become my favorite.

Another favorite team was Brazil who was consistently play such a beautiful football, and yet they have so many talented players.

Now Everything is changing, even Football is changing. Brazil and Argentina almost performed beautiful games…just almost! While the other teams consistently played a pragmatism and efficient football. 2010 is the year for european football, while for the Latin America, World cup is over.
